Why texts on the panels are not as white as on the real panels?
We are using white methacrylate to offer reduced prices. Real panels are build with transparent polycarbonate, painted with white and then grey paint. During the engravement only the gray lay of paint is burnt. This process means a high standard paint and engrave methods.
On the other hand, regarding lighting leves, the one in a simulated cockpit is much lower than in a real plane. In fact, in every simulated cockpit I have visited, the backlighting system was always working.
Taking into account these two points, we decided to build the panels with white methacrylate. The idea is to have the panels backlighted continuously.
Will you include in the catalogue new models of planes?
Yes. Next model to be added to the catalogue will be Airbus A320.
In addition, customized panels will be built. You will have to send us your design and we will build it.
Regarding radio panels, why the needed component is only one CTS288 encoder, which is single axe, if any radio needs concentric encoders?
Well, you can use any dual-axe encoder (expensive option) or a simulated dual-axe encoder using two rotary switches (a little of DIY). You can use one single encoder with button included instead: turn -> change decimal -> push -> turn change integer -> push -> ...
What is the difference between 30º and 45º panels?
It depends on which rotary switches are going to be used. The ones available here are of 30º indexing, but you can find 45º too. The real panels are 45º indexed. We give you the possibility to choose what you prefer.
