Panels general features
Panels are made with semi-transparent white plastic and the auxiliary pieces with transparent plastic 3 mm. thickness. The engraving and cutting process is made by a CO2 laser machine.
Each panel consist in different pieces:
the first layer is made with 3 mm. thickness semi-transparent white plastic, painted with special paint for plastics, colour RAL-7043 (the exact paint reference is Eurotex BESA-POL MATT RAL-7043 without catalyst). Once painted, the panel is engraved and cut by a CO2 laser machine.
the second layer consists in a 3 mm. thickness transparent plastic where elements like switches are fitted. The fitting spaces for displays are designed to use the Kingbright SC36 type.
you can find a third layer in some panels in order to fix keyswitches, etc.
the keys are made with two different pieces that the customer has to glue. The front part is made with 5 mm. thickness transparent plastic, and the rear part with 3 mm. thickness transparent plastic. The rear part is wider; so once the key is painted in black, the light will not escape through the space between the key an the panel.
We are concerned about the final price, so we have decided to paint the panel first, so after the laser process, all the edges are with no paint. Some of them are not neccessary to be painted (i.e. the holes for the rotary elements axles, because they will be covered by the knobs), but the rest of them should be painted by the customer.

In the case of the keys, the customer has to glue both parts, and then paint the lateral sides with black paint.
