TAKING OUT A DETENT IN A ROTARY SWITCH
Two of the EFIS knobs (MINS and BARO) have only two positions at 60 degrees. As I am using 30 degrees rotary switches, I need to eliminate the central detent.
A simple solution is to glue a little piece of a rounded
toothpick
into the second detent spaces. I have taken to pieces the switch being carefull not to lose the inner parts. Then I've glued the pieces in the positions shown in the picture below (positions at 90º from position number 2):

Once glued and assembled again, during the travel from position 1 to position 3, the inner ball can't fit in the spaces that I've covered.
