EFIS PANEL ASSEMBLY
With this tutorial you'll be able to build a complete A320 EFIS panel by using panels, printed circuit board and components from Hispapanels. You can find the needed components following these links:
Before starting with the assembly of the panel, we have to prepare the needed components:
- 7 function buttons
- 2 ON-OFF-ON toggle switches
- 1 6-digits 7-segments display with printed circuit board and connector
The engraved buttons are made with two pieces that you can glue with acethone or Acrifix. Do not damage the paint while doing this step. Then you can paint the edges with black paint.
Then you fit an acrylic bar to them.
For buttons and toggle switches we will use a 10 cm. lenght cable. Then we will use hot glue on the welding areas.
With the components ready, we can start assembling the panel. In the following video you can follow how the panel is assembled:
