SEATS

After trying a pair of car seats, I decided to use a customized seats, made out of MDF (16 mm. thickness). These are the pieces:

As I want to install armrests, a double back is needed to place the mechanism inside:

The mechanism is made with PVC pipes:

 

 

The armrest is made with a piece of wood fitted to PVC pipes:

 

I fit them with passing through screws:

 

To place the seats on the cokpit floor, I install two aluminium profiles as rails. This way the seat can be moved forward and back:

Seats are just placed over these rails:

 

The last step is selecting a nice cloth for cushions.

Note: armrests are just for resting your arms while flying. Don't force them when standing up and leaving the sim. I recommend lifting them before leaving your sim.
